Commission Junction Appoints Seasoned Sales Executive to Drive Client Acquisition
Fourth Annual Event For Online Marketers Held October 20 - 22 in Santa Barbara, Calif.
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Oct. 7, 2002 – Commission Junction (www.cj.com), a leader in pay-for-performance marketing, today announced that David Duckwitz has joined the company as senior vice president of worldwide sales and client management. Duckwitz has more than 15 years of sales and executive management experience in high-tech and Internet applications marketing. His role at Commission Junction is to guide the continued growth of the client base and assure their success with performance-based marketing.

"Duckwitz's extensive knowledge and experience in sales development will allow us to build on our current momentum and reach the next level of success."
Duckwitz recently served as senior vice president worldwide sales for SupportSoft, a support automation solution company where he was responsible for worldwide sales, channels, and business development. Before joining SupportSoft he was interim president, senior vice president and general manager at Stamps.com, a business-to-business Internet mailing and shipping company. Duckwitz held a variety of senior management positions at Computer Associates, and served as a senior vice president for worldwide sales selling into the business application space. Duckwitz began his technology sales career at Hewlett-Packard, where he earned HP's "Hall of Fame" award in recognition for consistently high performance. He went on to play a pivotal role at ASK Computer Systems, where he was named "Worldwide Sales Leader." Duckwitz holds a bachelor of science degree in computer information systems from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona California.
